Archer's Jersey Ice-cream

The only problem with visiting Archer's ice-cream parlour is trying to decide between the many flavours of delicious ice-cream. There is quite literally something for everyone whether you like the classic vanilla (made with real pods and lusciously creamy) or the more adventurous flavours like passion fruit, tiramisu or Amarretti.

All varieties are made locally from milk produced by the Jersey cows at New Moor Farm near Darlington, and - sold in cones or individual tubs - can be eaten inside on the chic high stools and tables or enjoyed outside in the sunny garden area. The parlour also specialises in sundaes, milk shakes, teas, coffees and frappés and sells larger tubs of ice-cream to take away.

For something with a real wow factor, why not indulge in one of the amazing ice-cream cakes? These come in a range of sizes and can be made to order and personalised for that special occasion or birthday. Popular varieties include strawberry and vanilla or raspberry pavlova but for extra fun you can design your own combination of flavours.

Tuesday to Friday: 10.00am until 5.00pm
Saturday and Sunday: 10.00am until 6.00pm
Closed Monday (during the winter)
