Visitors to Laceys are able to see cheese being made using traditional methods, as well as purchase fine cheese from an exciting collection of classic and contemporary varieties. These range from original cows cheeses to smoked cheeses or those flavoured with chilli and mixed olives. There is even an ale cheese made with beer from the next door Richmond Brewing Company.
All cheeses are made by hand using milk from the renowned Brymor herd of Guernsey cows based in nearby Masham. This milk not only has the advantage of being fully traceable but it also makes a really creamy, yellow cheese, which is totally delicious.
As well as selling the individual cheeses, Laceys offers cheese-related products such as home cheese making kits, cheese boards, fondue sets and other gift items.
