Yorkshire has a strong tradition of brewing and some of the region’s finest ales are made here at The Station. The Richmond Brewing Company is a six-barrel microbrewery providing first class ales in bottles and casks.
As well as supplying various retail outlets throughout the region, the company provides beer to businesses within The Station complex itself, for example, Laceys make a wonderful cheese with the Stump Cross Ale.
Visitors to the brewery can see (and smell) the fascinating brewing process and then purchase bottles of beer to take away or maybe try a glass served at Seasons further down the platform. Choose between the aptly named Station Ale (a light, golden coloured bitter); the dark, rich Stump Cross Ale; the smooth, full flavoured Swale; and the traditional, strong pale ale, Richmond Pale.
Other products, such as beer shampoo and commemorative pens and pencils are also available to buy.

Tuesday to Friday: 12.30pm - 4.00pm
Saturday: 10.30am - 5.00pm
Sunday: 11.00am - 4.00pm
Closed Monday.
